What is the recommended PCB footprint for mounting Intel LCC processor p/n R80C186XL20 ?
Oddly, it seems this requires a cutout in the PCB for the protruding die on the same surface as the contacts, or it is intended to be socket mounted.
TTM was using 3M LCC socket p/n 268-5401-50-1102JH, which is now obsolete.

That is not an FPGA part, so is way off topic for this forum.
The PQFP and QFP packages are all easily PCB mountable without a socket.
That part is at least 20 years old now.
