I do not know what temperature range is the best for CPU performance operation and electrical saving. Normally, I often heard that the temperature of CPU should be as low as possible. However if I see Dell and HP computer and laptop, the temperature for CPU operation is often at around 50 degree Celsius. If the temperature is higher than 50, the CPU fan will run to cool down CPU chip. Please let me know if Any one know about thermal design of CPU for the best performance and electrical saving.
