Ventuinha

Ola pessoa administra um servidor ja meio antigo mas estou precisando de uma juda as ventuinhas do meu servidor estao disparando que a sala fica um pouco quente, esta gelada mas nao muita.

Minha planca mae e uma S5500wb

Gostaria de saber se posso colocar um dissipador novo com ventuinha, uma vez que nele veio somenre o dissipador  se a ventuinha encima

Segue em anexo o processador e o dissipador que tem nele hoje.

What kind of chassis are you using? That heatsink is designed for a 2U chassis that has fans blowing air across it all the time. If the fans are stopping, then they are starting to fail and should be replaced. To answer your secondary question, yes, there are heatsink-fan units that can be used, but understand that the fans in the 2U chassis are cooling other components as well and thus should be replaced. If replacing the fans yields reasonable temperatures at the processor, it may be all you need to do.

A secondary thought: Over time, the thermal interface material (TIM, heatsink paste) between the processor and the heatsink can dry out and lose its heat transfer efficiency. Removing the heatsink, cleaning off all of the old TIM on both processor and heatsink, applying new TIM and then reinstalling the heatsink is something that can help with thermals as well.

Muito obrigado pelas resposta, e respodendo a primeira os ventiladores nao estao parando, uma vez que dispara eles nao param mais, quando reiniciallizo o servidor fica +- uns 10 minutos e volta a disparar as ventuinhas, ja fiz a troca da interface térmica, e o chassi e 2U
