I am considering upgrading my laptop CPU from i7-2630 QM to I7-2760 QM.
both require the same chipset HM65 and TDP of 45 W.
I found in amazon the "Intel Core i7-2760QM SR02W PGA 988B G2 Mobile CPU Processor 3.5Ghz 6MB 5GT/s", but requires a different socket named "FCBGA1224, FCPGA988".
Can anyone tell me the difference between FCBGA1224, FCPGA988 and 988BrPGA ?
Would this mean that my laptop could not support the I7-2760 QM?
