Xeon D1548

We are designing a system with Xeon D1548 processor. Is Xeon D 1559 having same pinout, electrical specs and pcb footprint as XeonD 1548?

In other words,Is it possible to mount Xeon D 1559 processor on the footprint of Xeon D1548?

Yes, both of these processors are designed for the FCBGA1667 "socket". They are both 45W parts and their external requirements are identical (barring Max. DRAM speed).
