Hi,
I don't know any intel chipset allowing ECC use of 8XXX CPUs.
is there any roadmap or workaround?

First of all, there are absolutely no ties between the ECC capability and the chipset. All present day processors implement the memory controllers within the processor. The chipset is not involved; it is only used for peripheral access.
If you want to make use of the ECC capabilities of a processor, you need to look specifically for a motherboard that supports ECC memory.

Thanks for your reply, I found this info in Intel ARK data:
but yes, motherboards are now basically a large I/O plate. Still, when I look for Z370 motherboard with ECC abilities they most of all have a physical compatibility but NON ECC mode! I'm a bit disappointed...
Do you have any info about 8th gen of server motherboard which would allow full ECC support?
