Hello fawazsaad,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

Well, this processor can work without problem at 100°C (TJUNCTION 100°C), you can see here:

https://ark.intel.com/products/97455/Intel-Core-i3-7100-Processor-3M-Cache-3_90-GHz https://ark.intel.com/products/97455/Intel-Core-i3-7100-Processor-3M-Cache-3_90-GHz

This is normal temperature for this processor; however, if you want your system to run at lower temperature you can try updating the processor BIOS, reapplying thermal paste, to update your BIOS you will to contact MSI for them to give instructions on BIOS update, you can try downloading and follow BIOS update instructions here:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B250M-GAMING-PRO.html# productFeature-section https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B250M-GAMING-PRO.html# productFeature-section

NOTE: This link is being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.

Please bear in mind that if your system runs at a temperature that the processor doesn't support to prevent damage to components, the computer shuts down or reboots if it senses an overheating issue. The system might reboot every few minutes until the problem is resolved. This often occurs if your system CPU is over-clocked (sped up past the recommended speed limits). The BIOS usually reports if a thermal event has occurred.

I hope this can help.

Regards,
