Hi,
what is the typical stock vcore voltage of the mobile cpu i7-4870HQ.
I am getting readings of 1.8V which seems too high, but i don't know what mobile cpus are like. It could be the reporting software though.
this is while running OSX 10.11.3 on a 15" rMBP 2014

Vcore information is not available at Intel. The processor datasheet mentions about processor voltage. This is specified below:

This CPU has its own VR (FIVR) inside CPU, the voltage you see is call Vin. FIVR allow each core or domain has it own voltage and it can be switch based on performance demand
