Can the cache on the core I7 or Xeon 5500 be used as standard memory? Possibly this is an artifact of being in non-segmented, non-protected, non-paged mode and not having any external memory? Is this a designed condition which can be exploited? Is this a condition which has gone through any testing or verification?

No processor cache can be used for physical memory becasue the processor has to have a place to store the processing files while doing so!

What processing files are you referring to and when are you saying they are needed?
