1000Base-KX support in Arria V/10

In the Arria V datasheet I saw a note about supporting 1000base-KX via the 10base-KR PHY IP core.  Is this full native support with verified electrical signaling?  What about Arria 10?

The 10GBASE-KR PHY is protocol-specific.
