I wasn't able to find the diagram showing what these are. It wasn't noted in the diagram.

There's 2 lid cover, right (#2,3). #1 is the Substrate? Anyone have the "color" diagram copy that

explains this. Dimension is a bit below tolerance?

I was not quite following your question.

Can you clarify a bit more? The .pdf file you attached is provided by Altera for the packaging device information. For ,jpg file, is this from yours?

Thanks.

My thickness dimension is below min tolerance 2.80  tolerance. I want to know if this part# suppose to be a "Dual Lid" or a "Single Lid".

From the drawing in datasheet i understood it to be a "Dual Lid". Look to me like 2 lids and 1 substrate? Maybe I'm reading this wrong?

"Single Lid" datasheet shows like 1 lid and 1 substrate. Need help in understanding.

How can I know this part is a  "dual" or "Single lid"? When I measure thickness as "dual" it's below

tolerance. From my understanding from datasheet it looked to me as "dual" but if I compared measurement

to "single lid" datasheet it's within tolerance. However, datasheet shows only a lid and substrate.

Is there a way to tell if part is "dual" or "single" lid? Will any of the marking tell us this?

It look to me what I have on hand is "dual" but thickness is below tolerance? It's with the "single" lid tolerance.

Am I reading this wrong as if it is "single" and not "dual"? Anybody knows?

Hello,

Apologies for the delay. I am checking this internally.

May I know if this unit is a fresh unit or has been extracted from the board and re-balled?

The question was, how do you know if the part is "dual lid" or "Single lid"?

These are fresh parts not pulled of board.

Hello,

To answer your question, based on the photo you provided, it is clearly a 2-piece lid solution.

However, we would like more information on where you got this old part. The top mark indicates a 2011 vintage based on the date code.

Upon internal checking, it can be that this unit is assembled from an old substrate.

Aqid
