256 FBGA Footprint

I cannot seem to find the land pattern recommendations for the EP3C5F256C8N 17X17 256 FBGA. Anyone know where they are?

The altera device package information data sheet doesn't specify land patterns. Industry standard land patterns should be applied. For 1 mm grid FBGA, 0.45 - 0.55 mm pad diameter (NSMD, not solder mask defined = soldermask > pad) is specified, 0.45 mm mostly used.

In the past, I've used Valor PCB Matrix land pattern viewer for getting the recommended IPC dimensions. 

 It looks like Valor is part of Mentor now:  http://www.mentor.com/products/pcb-system-design/pcbmatrix  One of their libraries may have the 256 BGA patterns.  Cheers, Dave
