ARM Core

Guys-

I'm new to this world of FPGAs (Doing ASICs for 15 years). Anyhow, I would like to instantiate an ARM9 core into an Altera Stratix III. I see the III has 338,000 Logic Elements and I'm wondering if anyone knows the size of the ARM9 in regards to Logic Elements?

Thanks,

Your questions presupposes that you actually have access to an ARM9 core. ARM could give you exact resource utilization for the core. The closest thing I can point you to is the Cortex-M1 core.

Looks like 2600 LE's in a Cyclone III

Thanks Jake, looks like I'll suggest that core to the company and roll with it.
