Agilex In-System Memory Content Editor issue

Hello,

Device: Agilex AGFB014R24B2E2V

Quartus version: Windows 23.2.0

I'm able to program the device through the "In-System Memory Content Editor". The Instance Manager shows two instances of type RAM/ROM that are Read/Write. When I right click and go to "Read Data from In-System Memory" the status says "Acquisition in progress". It stays in this state for some minutes until it times out.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I have re-generated the ROM to make sure it should be accessible. See attached screenshot.

Problem is arbitration between the Quartus in-system memory editor and my logic accessing the memory. I need to halt the internal access so that Quartus has cycles to modify the memory.

This is different than my experience on the Arria 10 devices.

Have you tried to resetting the FPGA board and reestablishing the connection? Normally it can resolve communication issues. Try power-cycling the board and restarting Quartus. Also make sure JTAG is connected properly to the device.

Thanks for the Response.

I have tried power cycling and restarting Quartus to no avail. When I attempt to read the internal RAM, the JTAG connection is good.

Does that resolve the issue or still persist?
