Hello,
I am working with Altera Cyclone 3 FPGA starter kit for my project from the past week or so. Suddenly today I see that the FPGA is not powering up(The LED is not glowing). Any idea as to what might be the problem? Any help would be appreciated. Regards, RanjanLink Copied

- No 12 V DC input voltage present
- Power switch off - Jumper JP6 removed - Overload on 3.3V supply rail, e.g. due to damaged parts. In the latter case, did you connect external circuits to the board before?- Mark as New

Hello,
I did not connect any external circuit boards before. Also all the cimponents are in their proper places. Due you think it could be damaged? But there were no external surges as power supply is through a standard adapter. Please help. Regards, Ranjan- Mark as New

You should get a multimeter somewhere and measure in- and output voltages of individual switched mode voltage converters against circuit ground. Consult the schematic page 12 in case of doubt.
