Configuration Function PINs

Hi, 

in the "PIN Information for the Cyclone IV (EP4CE10)" documents, I see that the pin c1/6 and d2/8 have a configuration function (data1,asdo and flash_nce,ncso).  

 

Can I use this pin as general purpose IO pins? 

Are they immediately usable or do I have to configure them in some way?

The state of the dual purpose pins in user mode can be configured in Device and Pin Options. Consider that if an AS flash is connected, you usually can't activate nCSO without causing AS flash action.
