Hello,
In Cyclone V 5CEBA7F27C8N, If the Design Security Volatile Key is used then VCCBAT pin should be connected to a non-volatile battery power source in the range of 1.2V to 3.0V.
Could you please explain -
What is 'Design Security Volatile Key' means? What is the purpose of this feature? Is it recommended to implement this feature?

Hi,
The design security features in Intel® 40-, 28- and 20-nm FPGAs to used protect your designs against unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, and tampering of your configuration files.
The usability depend on the security features required and its optional to use.
You can refer the AN556: Using the Design Security Features in Intel FPGAs.
