I'm working on a system, based on development board DE0-Nano, that pulls information from a CMOS Camera Module (Micron MT9D111), writes the information on the SDRAM and then read it again to be displayed at a TFT LCD (SGD GKC43SPAH4R0). I need that SDRAM step because I will process that image information on a different module later.
The problem here is, the image displayed on the LCD is flickering vertically about every second. Horizontally, image is displayed properly (fitting the display). I thought it was because of settings concerning the LCD on the video sync generator module but, after playing a little bit with the settings, it continues flickering. I was wondering if there is any relation between the CMOS camera resolution (1600 x 1200 pixels) and the LCD pixel arrangement (480 x 272 [RGB]dots) or the system timing (Main clock is running at 50 MHz, Camera Module & Display clocks are running at 6 Mhz). The simulation runs without any problems on ModelSim. I will appreciate any advice on this. Greetings from Japan. :DLink Copied
