I want to use DMA for transmitting data from RS232 to Memory. In NIOS I initialisise the DMA to receive four bytes and store them to Memory. After that I want to initialise it again for another transaktion (for example again four bytes to another address). My Problem is, that the first transaktion works fine but the secound one doesn´t work. If I set the DMA in 32-Bit-Mode everything seems ok. Then I can reinit it as much as I want. That seems a little bit srange. Can anyone help me or had someone a similar problem?
