Hi,
Do the Stratix 10 GX and SX FPGA families support Fibre Channel?
The Intel® Arria® 10 Transceiver PHY User Guide (UG-01143 | 2018.10.16) specifically mentions that it supports Fibre Channel but the Intel Stratix 10 L- and H-Tile Transceiver PHY User Guide (UG-20055 | 2019.01.23) makes no mention of Fibre Channel.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Yes. Stratix 10 FPGA is able to support fiber optical channel.
For instance, you can take a look at below S10 XCVR SI kit board where it has transceiver channel that connect to SFP and QSDP module.

Thanks.

Hi Dlim,
I understand that the Stratix 10 can support optical fiber communications. My question is specific to the Fibre Channel (FC) standard from the FCIA.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
S10 transceiver characterization is still on-going but I noticed we do support FC protocol on S10 L-tile transceiver.
Thanks.

dlim
