Me ah ayudado mucho.

Please refer to:

1. The original thread where you asked about this, where I answered and listed factors you need to consider:

https://community.intel.com/t5/FPGA-SoC-And-CPLD-Boards-And/Fpga-cyclone-10-10CL016YU484C8G/m-p/1500561

2. The Cyclone 10 LP Product Table document, which shows the available combinations of device, package type, and the associated I/O count:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/content-details/714190/intel-cyclone-10-lp-fpgas-family-overview-product-table.html

You'll notice that there are also devices larger than the 10CL016 available in the same U484 package, but with fewer user I/O, so not 100% pin-for-pin compatible. The pinouts are a subset, so if you wanted to consider one of these larger devices, you'll have to check the pinout differences and determine if the differences are compatible with how things are connected on your board. You'll also need to determine if the power supplies on your board are sufficient for the power requirements of the larger device. You'll also need to make sure that your means of programming the device on the board (SPI flash or whatever) can support the larger bit stream of the larger device. And you will also need the ability to rebuild your design to target the larger device. And there may be additional considerations, thermal, etc. So it might be a possibility, but it might be more than you can take on if you're asking these rudimentary questions. So in your case, you probably need to just stick to 10CL016 in the U484 package to keep it simple, if that option is available to you.

3. The Cyclone 10 LP Device Overview document, which also shows most of the above:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683879/current/device-overview.html

Especially pertinent to your situation, see sections on I/O vertical migration and package plan:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683879/current/i-o-vertical-migration.html

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683879/current/package-plan.html

4. The Cyclone 10 LP Device Datasheet document, which describes the available speed & temperature grades and associated specifications.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683251/current/device-datasheet.html

5. And here's the Cyclone 10 LP main page with all available documentation:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/fpga/cyclone/10/lp/docs.html

No, 10CL016YU256I7G does not have the same pinout as 10CL016YU484C8G.  It does not even have the same package.

U256 package:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_US/pdfs/literature/packaging/04R00372-03.pdf

U484 package:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_US/pdfs/literature/packaging/04R00375-04.pdf

Different packages.
