Does any one use the Altera FPGA to perform ADC

I want to sample the sound signal with the frequency at about 16KHz, and 16bits per sample, is it possible to implement the design with Cyclone FPGA?

can anyone give me some suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

A sigma-delta ADC is formed from almost entirely digital components and thus may be implemented in FPGA. Xilinx have cores available, not sure about Altera. I assume your development board has space to add some external components?
