Firmware update nic XXV710DA2

I wish to create virtual function on the NIC which i have, XXV710DA2 to support SR-IOV. Currently it has 7.10 firmware and does not virtualization. When i tried upgrading it using the Intel's nvmupdate tool it showed update not available. but there is 9.30 latest firmware version for XXV710 series NIC. can anyone help me how I upgrade the firmware to at least  7.30 which supports SR-IOV. Attaching the ethtool output of the NIC.

1.    Could you share the details of the server board you are using?

2.    Could you share the details of the O.S you are using?

3.    Could you please confirm that do you follow all the steps in the README Text Files that comes with the driver?
