Hi every boby,

a naive question, is it possible to use a cycloneV SoC with ARM without linux.

With Nios, it is OK an OS or RTOS is not necessary.

I haven't found the answer yet.

Thank you to help.

Yes! In fact, if you install SOC EDS, it comes along with a ton of libraries to help you code in baremetal, and examples. There are also examples here: https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/design-examples/soc.html

With Nios, it's also perfectly acceptable to code in baremetal. There are examples included in the Nios II EDS that comes installed in Quartus.
