HMC GND Pins connection

Hi, 

We are using 5CGXFC5C6F23I7N Cyclone V FPGA in our project. In this fpga we are making use of HMC DDR3 interface. According to pin list, this HMC for DDR3 has dedicated GND pins. But we are making use of some GND pins as IO's and we are left with some GND pins. Do we need to connect the remaining pins to GND or can we float them?
