Hi, Please advise me how do I program the FPGA using .jic file? I converted my .sof file to .jic with EPCQ256. I assumed this is the one in the dev kit. I checked the schematic in the cd content I downloaded from your website, but couldn't see the EPCQ chip in the schematic. I saw MT25QL256ABA8ESF and used this as well but both failed. I already set MSEL1 to 1, MSEL2 to 0 and MSEL4 to 1 to get 10010 (AS Mode). But when programming, it failed with this error "Error (209025): Can't recognize silicon ID for device 1. A device's silicon ID is different from its JTAG ID. Verify that all cables are securely connected, select a different device, or check the power on the target system. Make sure the device pins are connected and configured correctly."
I googled and it seemed the problem is with hardware: "This problem is caused by an incorrect device used for component U29, which impacts the AS configuration circuit. This issue only affects the Cyclone® V GT FPGA Development Kit (DK-DEV-5CGTD9N-B) with serial numbers ranging from 5CPCIE00100011 to 5CPCIE00100115." as specified in this link
