How to fully automate generation of .ekp file and program device in command line.

According to my interpretation of AN 556 to use the command line to program the .ekp file requires conversion to a .jam file. But the note provides no way of generating this second file via the command line interface, only by opening up a GUI in the software.

 

How do I script generating a .ekp file and programming a device with it?
