Hi, all
I have build a system that must use one CPLD and another is FPGA. Its connection is listed as attachment. https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=5408 The CPLD and FPGA constitute the JTAG chain. How can i program them by QuartusII Progroammer? In JTAG mode, Programmer can recogonize them https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=5409 but it give error message when i add file to each. https://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=5410 what's root of this problem? what version are you using and what are you doing to run into the bug?

I am going to program the JTAG chain by adding config file to device and then the bug happen. when i double click the <none> one window popup to select the config file, but the bug take place when i select the pof or jed and click ok. Hope your further help, this problem has blocked me some days. Thank you!

you might try installing 11.1sp1 full or stand alone programmer
i'm guessing you are trying to program the CPLD with the .pof?
