Is this everything I need

Your advice on this subject is greatly appreciated. I've searched the Altera website, but it's complicated enough that I can't find a clear answer. I have 35 years of hardware design experience, but have never done a CPLD before.

Please tell me if this is a COMPLETE list of what I'll need to do software development and in-circuit programming:

- Host PC (just to be complete), mine's running WinXP SP3

- Quartus II 10.0sp1 Web Edition software

- Starting point source code (rather than from scratch, started from a reference design)

- USB-Blaster Download Cable

- 5x2 0.100" male header on target board, wired for JTAG mode (not AS or PS modes)

- EPM240GT100C3N (from MAX II family) on target board

- Powered up and otherwise operating target board

Thanks very much.

I think you have it all... You can add Modelsim Altera Starter Edition if you want to be able to simulate your code before downloading it to the CPLD.
