License problem?

I just deinstalled quartus v14 and installed quartus v 15 subscription edition and added my new license file to the system by setting environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE to the path where the new license file was placed.

When I attempt to start quartus I get the following message:

http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=11346&stc=1

The license file is current, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The actual quartus program opens up briefly and then closes without providing any opportunity to set the license file manually as I have done in previous versions.

Thanks in advance.

Richard

Since you have just purchase a new license, you could contact the sales or FAE to see if there is any issue with the license that they have provided?

This message is not the sort of thing you would get from a corrupt license file. The license file location should be set within your environment variables under LM_LICENSE_FILE and you can change it from there. What does your license file start with?, I would expect something like:

FEATURE maxplus2 alterad 9999.12 31-oct-2015 uncounted XXXXXXXXXXXX

The 9999.12 shows the highest version which is supported by the license and the date afterwards (31-oct-2015) is the expiry date of the license. I suspect yours will look something similar.
