Life cycle and alternative for Cyclone IV E

Hi,

we have EP4CE6E22I7N (Cyclone IV E) implemented into the design of a product (> 10 years expected service life) which is still under development. Caused by the market situation and sold out stocks we evaluate to change to another FPGA in similar price range. An additional advantage would be that we could use a newer series since I'm concerned about the service life of the quite old Cyclone VI E series from 2009.

How long will the Cyclone IV E series be available (no exact answer expected but a guess)?

What is the Intel series to replace Cyclone IV E in future?

Thanks for your answers

Well, obvious question. Have you looked at equivalent parts in the Cyclone V and Cyclone 10 series?

There are low end versions of the Cyclone V E and the Cyclone 10 LP that are pretty similar to that Cyclone IV E device.
