Is it possible to use the CRC_ERROR pin as a regularuser input?

Hi
MAX10 pinout file answers your question. CRC_ERROR is optional function of IO pin.
If you choose a pin assignment that's not feasible, Quartus will tell you when trying to compile the design. I suggest to always perform a test compile before finishing a PCB design.
