MAX10 CFM writing speed

Hi

my project is on 10M08SA, and i try to write *.rpd data into CFM using SPI or UART to update the firmware without Nios. the UG_M10UFM says that in the IP Onchip_flash each 32-bit data could take about 34us-305us, and seems that the writing operation do not support burst write.

so when using UART at 115200bps, it's ok. but when using SPI, the writing speed is a little bit slow. is there any way to speed up the writing operation?

Thank you.

Leon

Unfortunately, the FLASH write time is a function of the MAX 10 process, not any code. So, no. There's no way to speed up the write to FLASH.

Cheers,

Alex
