Hi,
it depends. MAX10 has unique 64 bit chip ID, most FPGA have only JTAG ID which is at least specific for device family. Review Chip ID Intel FPGA IP Cores User Guide.

Thanks.
Does each MAX10 FPGA has a different value?

I am using the chip_id IP in my design to read the chip ID value. So I want to know if I should expect the same value in my design, regardless of the FPGA (MAX10 only).
