Need suggestion for my graduation thesis

Hi all,

I am currently seeking new ideas for my upcoming graduation thesis using de1-soc board. I have came up with some ideas like implementing AES Encrypter/Decrypter, JPEG2000 compression, and Tetris game. I want to inquire whether these ideas are good enough for my thesis. Moreover, does anyone have any suggestion about other interesting areas?
