PFL II IP will configure the Agilex using Avalon-ST configuration schemes.
PFL II IP connects with QSPI flash.

Here we are not able to convert the Agilex *.sof file to *.pof file for QSPI flash in Avalon-ST configuration schemes.

We are facing below error,

Vijay_shanmugam_1-1653303417166.png

"Intel® Agilex™ Configuration User Guide" has only CFI flash conversion information and does not have for QSPI flash.

So,  need a procedure to convert the Agilex *.sof file to *.pof file for QSPI flash in Avalon-ST configuration schemes.

Note: Intel Quartus Prime Pro 21.4

Thanks,

Vijay

You're using the wrong tool to convert.  Go to File menu -> Convert Programming Files.

I am using Avalon-st x8 configuration method, so cannot use "convert Programming Files" options. Configuration userguide suggest to use "Programming file Generation" options

hi, since you are using 2gb qspi flash. Can you try to select CFI2GB and test on it?

Thanks Yuanli.

If i changed to CFI2GB flash then i am able to generate the *.POF.

Please provide the steps to convert the Agilex *.sof file to *.pof file for QSPI flash in Avalon-ST configuration(x8) schemes.

Thanks,

Vijay
