Currently, I have Arria 10 GX development kit on local server via PCIe connection. I was wondering if i can use my device for OPAE acceleration device. I know it targets PAC but I also noticed that PAC also uses Arria 10 GX. So, Can I?

Hi,

Per my understanding the answer is no.

PAC card is also using Arria10 FPGa similar to Arria10 Development kit but onboard components are no same. Hence Fpga interface manager might not be compatible.

However you can still use the AFU simulation environment (ASE) to develop and test acceleration RTL with OPAE applications

For more information about ASE, see the OPAE AFU Simulation Environment (ASE) User Guide.

https://opae.github.io/0.13.0/docs/ase_userguide/ase_userguide.html

Or you can sue Arria10 development kit to run application using OpenCL.

Thanks,

Arslan
