PC host could not find stratix II GX pci-e card

Hi,

I'm working with a stratix II GX PCI-E development kit and try to run the demo provided with the kit. I can download both sof and pof files to the FPGA chip with no problem.

When I plugged the Stratix II GX PCI-E card into a PCI-E x16 slot of a PC, after starting the computer, there 's no new hardware found. When I executed the pcie.exe demo software provided with the development kit, there was a pop-up window saying "could not find pci card".

I did every step by following the getting started tutorial. I tried to insert the card into a different computer but got the same result.

Does that mean the hardware have a problem? Is there any configurations I need to do before I insert the card to the pci-e slot? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Thanks,

Xiaorong

Hi again,

I also want to mention that when I inserted the card, the power led on the board turned on and the pre-installed design started to run.

Thanks,
