PCIe_fundamental problem

I have a DE4, and I am running on windows XP.

I follow the instruction on user manual try to run pice fundamental.exe, but I have a problem when I restart my computer.

The power of the board would be cut off and it will enter reset state.

So instead of jtag, I use passive serial configuration which could last after power cutoff.

However, an error message occur "unable to reset before configuration" when I try to configure.

I am stuck here. Thanks for any help you could offer either how could I restart windows without

power off the board or the solution of this error message.

And the board is connected with pc using both pcie and USB blaster.

Thanks. Yhc

Go to the device manager, disable the device and enable again. I am not sure if it'll help, but afaik it should.

I disable the device and enable it again, and it seems that this solution is not working.

Is it true that DE4 could only be configured using JTAG mode??

How could I program my file in the Flash? Using AS mode??

(looks like only few people are using DE4, help me plz!!)
