Problem when configuring Stratix II Board

Hi,

I can upload the factory program fine to the Stratix II board but when I try to upload the program I had made I think it encounters an error. The program complied fine.

Both of the red leds come on and also the fan stops. The enthernet chip also gets hot even though I am not using it and do not have anything going to it pins.

Thank you in advance for any help.

make sure your project has unused io tri-stated and not driven to ground, unfortunately the later is the default.

Yes. In the Device settings you need to select the option to set unused pins to tri-state. If this is not the case, you're lucky if you haven't damaged something.
