Programming Arria 10 after setting non-volatile key and tamper protection

Hello,

I set the non-volatile key and tamper protection in Arria 10 (I checked using the KEY_VERIFY via JTAG and everything seems good).

The thing is I can't load my JIC using Quartus Programmer and JTAG. The JIC contains a properly encrypted SOF but I get this error message at around 73%:

Error (209014): CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 1. Make sure all communication cables are securely connected, select a different device, check the power on the target system, or make sure all nCE pins are connected to GND.

It was working good before the non-voaltile key and tamper protection, so I guess there is a difference now?

Thanks

Hi Fpedga,

May I know what is the version you're using now?

There is a few KDBs related to your issue.

You may take a look and see if this workaround is applicable to your issue:

Error (209014): CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 1

Error (209014): CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 1

Error (209014): CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 1.
