Programming .jam issue

Hello all, I am getting an issue when trying to program my device through Nios II command shell with the command "quartus_jli" followed by the action in the .jam file. The error reads:
Device #1 unable to read IDCODE
Unrecognized device
Exit code = 6 . . . Unrecognized device

Note, the .jam file was created using the command "quartus_cpf" with an input being a .ekp file and output of .jam. I was also able to read the device ID with a different .jam file. What could be the issue?

May I know which devices you are using? Cyclone V MAX 10, etc..

Can you screenshot the exact/full error?

If you could describe the differences between the working tested jam file vs this error jam file created? If there are any differences that you may recall?
