Programming support for EPC2LI20 with FLEX10k device

I am trying to flash a .pof file onto a EPC2LI20 device, and the current version of Quartus II is no longer compatible with it. Is there a workaround to this through a third party software? I know Quartus II version 9.0 should work with it, but I don't know where I would go to download that software. Any assistance with either locating Quartus II or a third party software is much appreciated!

Hi there,

I'm sorry, but the EPC2 is too outdated and has already reached the end of its support life.

QuartusII 13.0sp1 is the earliest version now still available online.

This doc may can help u:  https://www.intel.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_US/pdfs/literature/pcn/adv2011.pdf

Best regards,

Hi,
where do you see recent Quartus programmer being incompatible with EP2CL20? I have EP2CL20 .pof file from an old project and it's recognized in Quartus, e.g. 23.1. Unfortunately I have no target hardware at hand to check if the programmer can actually access EP2C.

Regards
Frank

Try this search:  https://archive.org/search?query=subject%3A%22quartus%22

thru the internet archive. Several hits come up for Quartus II 9.x installs.
