Hi,
I'm currently working on a project to upgrade an Altera FLEX 6010A CPLD to something more modern. The old project uses a 10BASE2 interface with BNC connectors, and we'd like to upgrade it to Ethernet, and at the same time move to a new FPGA. The previous project is written in AHDL, and we'd also like to port that design to VHDL.
The design was developed with Quartus 5.0. Quartus support for FLEX 6010 ended with Quartus 9.0, and it's not possible to get anything earlier than Quartus 13.0.1 off of the Intel FPGA Software Download Center. I'd like to verify the design, and I'd appreciate using Quartus to make sure the old project files were complete and synthesizable, and take a look at the RTL viewer, and maybe other tasks.
Is it possible to obtain Quartus 5.0 from Intel? If not 5.0, then 9.0? If it is possible, who would I need to contact to make this happen?
Thanks,
-Brian

If you have the code, couldn't you just create a project in a current version of Quartus and just pick a modern device for compilation? Why do you need the old version? I'm pretty sure you can bring AHDL files into modern Quartus.

I would need the older version to verify the VHDL logic design port on the original device. Optionally, if the device file for Altera FLEX devices can be imported into Quartus 13 or greater, that would work as well.

Hi BrianMcFadden,
For Quartus v5.0 you have to contact Intel sales as the software has been discontinued.
You can refer to https://fpgasoftware.intel.com/
Thanks.
