Questa Starter Edition bad license file generated

Hello,

I just generated a license with the Self-Licensing service but is not working.

This is the error I get when I try to start Questa

Where *****MYNIC***** is the NIC. What can I do to fix the issue?

Could you help re-confirm your environment variable setup again? You need to set your LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to point to the license that Intel provides. c:\intel\license.dat or something similar.

You can refer to link on how to set environment variable.

To make this entry, you may perform a windows Search for "System Variables" and then click on "Edit the System Environment Variables" and then click "Environment Variables". Be aware that you must add the entry in System variables, not user variables.

Hello, I setup the variable as always and then I rebooted the machine. See attached picture.

The License file is bad, the website is generating wrong licenses missing the license signature.

I get this output by running lmgrd:

See first post for the content of LR-077522_License.dat, but essentially is missing lines with

FEATURE .... HOSTID="..." TS_OK SIGN="..."

and is not recognized as a valid license

Thanks for update. could you help request again new Questa license in https://licensing.intel.com/ and try it? I’m suspecting error in license file and report back if error happen with Screenshot of error message and also provide the new Questa license.dat file for checking.

Hello, I requested multiple times a new license. Everytime is missing the signature so is not recognized.

I tried fixed and floating license, but I can't get a working license.

I tried differenct NIC too.

Hi, I'm facing the exact same issue. No signature in the license file for Questa Starter edition. Any help is appreciated.

The license issue is fixed. Kindly regenerate the Questa license again in SSLC.

I'm also receiving incomplete license files (with commented parts only). I tried to generate licenses more than 10 times, none of them is helpful. FEATURE parts have the same content of this post. Any help is appreciated.
