Should GHRD release version be same as quartus version ?

Hello,

I see that GHRD release versions are very similar to quartus versions.

Does it mean that there should be a match between this numbers, for example, GHRD version 15.1 should only be used with quartus 15.1 ?

Hi Ranran,

 

Not a mandatory! we can use the same version or latest version of Quartus with IP upgrade.
