The problem of Board Description Editor

HI,I can't find Board Description Editor in SOPC8.1,can anyone help me in sorting out this issue?but in the release of 6.1 or below,we can find it.

The Board Description Editor was removed. It was foretold in chapter 7 of the Quartus II handbook from March 2007...

"Board descriptions and the board description editor are deprecated features in SOPC Builder v7.0. These features will be removed in a future version of SOPC Builder. Do not use these features for new projects" 

 

Just use the pin planner to make your pin assignments.

But when i want to use the flash to storage the software code,i should build a new board description first.In the release of 8.1,this function is removed,they must have new way to save code in flash.Am a right?

Yes, basically you don't need to worry about a board description any longer. I always thought it was a little silly anyway. Now the tools just look at your SoPC description to determine what flash devices are available.

Correct. Just forget about the board description. You'll never need it again.

BTW,can u tell me how to set the Reset address and Exception Address. 

I save software code in flash and system contents in EPCS1.So i set reset address to ext_flash(name of CFI),but i don't know how to set Exception Address?
