Hello Forum,

Has anyone of you ever the UART a6850 from Altera IP core used?

I am trying to build just a communication link with this and see this problem.

The UART requires a frequency the 16 ** matches the baud rate. This works even if. But now I have the request of the stability that it can happen that a user the wrong set the baud rate.

This is not a problem in and of itself. The communication system which sits behind the UART and served them, recognize false telegrams (CRC, etc.) and ignored them.

However, the UART should nevertheless receive marks in this case (if also wrong).

What I can see now is that some UART after seconds simply stop (sometimes minutes) be irq_n signal, so its Receive interrupt to set. He stopped himself somewhere and begins to also no longer.

Does anyone have an idea about this problem?

Am thankful for any help!
