USB 3.0 Support on Stratix IV

Hi All, 

 

I am designing USB 3.0 device, I went through the USB 3.0 specification. From that I figured out that USB has similar architecture to PCIe. So I can use PCIe block available in Stratix IV to work as a USB 3.0 PHY. But I am in doubt how to support LFPS (Low Frequency Periodic Signalling) with PCIe hard/soft block as this feature/mode is not available in PCIe but USB 3.0 

 

Can anyone suggest me workaround to support LFPS in Altera's device (Stratix IV)?
