Windows 7 ByteBlaster MV driver

Is there a driver for a ByteBlasteMV available? The only computer we have with a parallel port is a Windows 7 System. The MAX+PLUS II software downloaded from the Altera web site has been installed and all functions are operating normally EXCEPT for programming.

I have not been able to find a list of drivers on the download section of the Altera web site. Am I missing something? If not, can someone point me to a source for a driver and tell me what the file name is?

There is some indication that drivers for XP are available but there’s no information on where they can be found. Perhaps the XP drivers will work if installed in the compatibility mode.

I’M WILLING TO TRY ANYTHING to resolve this issue.

The ByteBlaster is dead. The drivers barely function under WinXP.

If "ANYTHING" involves spending $50, just buy a Terasic USB-Blaster ...

Hey Dave,

$50 is small potatoes when you crank in 3 or 4 days of pulling my hair out. I appreacate you tip and am off to the Terasic web site. TNX again.

Jack
